The Fun Begins!

On May 30, 2006, a group of 36 world citizens crossed the English Channel on the Eurostar, thus beginning the continental portion of Globus' "Popular Europe" tour. Most of us actually began our journey 3 days earlier. We boarded flights in America on May 27 and flew overnight to England, arriving at our hotel by around 1 PM on Sunday, May 28th. For some reason, however, Globus identifies this tour as "0530", so that's how we'll identify our blog!

Here, we hope to showcase our photos, share highlights of our trip, or simply chat amongst ourselves about an experience we shared for 17 days. As a first posting, this will serve to introduce us to the online Blogger experience, and to reaquaint ourselves with each other. In the future, we will each express our own opinions, ideas, regrets, or "recuerdos" (memories) of our wonderful "European Tour 2006-05-30".
